Classes

Classes are offered to children and adults, to people with no martial arts training or with extensive training.

Classes for children are Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:30-7:30 pm.

Adult classes follow the children's classes, Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 7:45-9:00 pm.

Karate classes now available during the day! Right-click for more information about daytime karate classes.

To keep up with the demand for quality martial arts instruction during the work/school day, Black Tiger Karate has added the following classes, starting June 9, 2011:

"Little Tigers" - Simple self-defense moves and increased awareness of surroundings gives younger children (4-6 years old) increased confidence (and all under the disguise of having a great time)! A great way to burn of some of that nervous energy (and a good workout for Mom or Dad, too - because of the age of these little guys, parent participation is required). Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:00-10:00 am

"Ladies Only" - We understand that sometimes, women prefer to train without any men present. The kids are in school, so grab a girlfriend and come in for a complementary class (all instructors are female, of course). Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:00-11:00 am  Right click for more information about karate taught by women, for women

Daytime Adult Classes - Evening is family time? If frequent long days, dinner with the family, or kids' activities make evening class difficult to make, join us over the lunch hour!  Tuesdays and Thursdays 12:00-1:00 pm.

Home School Class - If you are looking for a physical activity that the kids will love, you've come to the right place. Daytime self-defense, taught by a licensed educator, what could be better? Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:00-2:00 pm

Wednesday classes are a big hit! In addition to the traditional classes taught on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the classes are focused on specific topics:

"Open" classes are held from 10-11 am on the first four Saturdays of the month (except testing days). Instructors are available to help students work on an aspect of their choosing.
